The reverse design of this 2008 $1 coin is a representation of the 1908 Coat of Arms consisting of a shield incorporating the Cross of St George with a seven pointed star on a wreath as the crest above it. A kangaroo and an emu support the shield with a scroll below containing the motto 'Advance Australia Fair'.
