The rock-wallaby is a kangaroo-like marsupial with a yellow striped tail white underside yellow forearms and yellow feet. Feeding in the cool of dusk and early morning the rock wallaby lives in rock crevices and caves in the semi-arid country from South Australia through to south-west Queensland.
