The Story

The Royal Australian Mint has struck and rolled a red coloured $2 coin to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Gallipoli during World War I. This special coin features a ring of poppies amongst crosses to mark the fallen and a red circle surrounding the solemn words ‘Lest We Forget’. Issued as part of the official Anzac Centenary Coin Program capturing history service and sacrifice of Australians at War. 

These rolls of 25 coins have been issued in brown paper with the words 'Royal Australian Mint' and struck with an extremely limited run of 4000 rolls.
