To celebrate the 2006 Commonwealth Games held in Melbourne, Victoria, The Royal Australian Mint released 15,500 18-coin sets over a 12-month period in the lead-up to the games. The coins in the collection are individually encapsulated on credit-card style cards all housed in a presentation folder.
