2017 Australian Koala 2oz Silver Antiqued High Relief

Following the success of the Antique finish Koala The Perth Mint has issued an Australian 2017 $2 Antique finish koala. An extremely limited mintage of 3000 will be issued in high relief from 2oz of 99.9% pure silver with a rimless edge.

The reverse depicts an adult koala sleeping in a eucalyptus tree surrounded by gumnuts gum leaves and gum blossums. To capture the depth and detail of the design the coin is struck in high relief to a rimless format. Second Quality
