To wrap up the 50th Anniversary Commemoration of Australian Decimal Currency the Royal Australian Mint has produced a 2016 round 50 cent proof with selective gold plating struck in 99.9% pure silver.
Stuart Devlin's Coat of Arms reverse design used for the original 1966 80% silver 50 cent is used on the 2016 version with only the obverse being changed to the Ian Rank-Broadley's current Queen Elizabeth II effigy.
