Fiji's first ever 7 dollar note was printed for the Reserve Bank commemorating Fiji's first gold medal won at an Olympic Games by their champion rugby sevens team.
The front of the note features the Fijian flag in the background Reserve Bank of Fiji 2016 logo in gold foil and the Fijian coat of arms. The team and coaching staff grace the back of the note wearing the Olympic gold medals with "Fiji Rugby 7s Gold Olympians" in exergue.
