The Story
This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of Australia's circulating coins. The 1987 set consists of seven coins:
- One Cent
- Two Cents
- Five Cents
- Ten Cents
- Twenty Cents
- Fifty Cents and
- One Dollar.
The seven coins are housed sealed in a fold-out see-both-sides colourful presentation bubble pack and enclosed in a protective.
Due to poor economic conditions in the late 80's, five of the seven coins contained in this set were not released for general circulation - the one cent and five cents were the only exceptions.
