A limited edition of 300 gold foil postmark Unlikely Heroes postal numismatic covers were released by Australia Post as a part of its 2017 'Impressions' limited edition catalogue. The gold foil postmark, in the shape of a cross encompassing the year '1915', is encircled by the words 'UNLIKELY HEROES . ANIMALS IN WAR . 11 NOVEMBER 2015 . CANBERRA ACT 2600'. The postmark cancels a 70c Australia Post commemorative 'Animals in War' postage stamp.
Each pack is individually hand-numbered on the back of the envelope.
