The Story
6 500 postal numismatic covers each consisting of a 2020 End of World War II Colour $2 coin and two commemorative World War II postage stamps were jointly issued by Australia Post and the Royal Australian Mint Canberra.
The coin is mounted on a colourful see-both-sides card and housed in a souvenir envelope. The two $1.10 postage stamps depicting two different WWII scenes are cancelled with a 'First Day of Issue' tripod and poppy postmark dated 14 April 2020 at Canberra ACT 2601.
