The Story

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. The 1987 set consists of seven coins:

  • One Cent
  • Two Cents
  • Five Cents
  • Ten Cents
  • Twenty Cents
  • Fifty Cents and
  • One Dollar

The seven coins are housed sealed in a see-both-sides hard plastic case in a special blue plastic wallet. An explanatory sheet printed on light grey cardboard accompanied the set.outer cardboard may have scuff, marks on acrylic case second quality.
