The Story

This set represents the annual release by the Royal Australian Mint of proof versions of Australia's circulating coins. Three of the six coins in the set commemorate the 60th anniversary of the end of the Second World War. The coins in the set are:

  • Five Cents
  • Ten Cents
  • Twenty Cents - 'Coming Home'
  • Fifty Cents - 'Remembrance'
  • Dollar - 'Peace' and
  • Two Dollars

The six coins are sealed in a see-both-sides hard plastic case mounted in a burgundy leatherette folder and protected by a colourful presentation box.
