2014 Treasures of the World - Australia 1oz Silver Locket Coin

As part of The Perth Mint's Treasures of the World series showcasing the world's abundance of natural riches, this is the second issue in the series of five showcasing Australia and its wealth of gold.

Struck from 1oz 99.9% pure silver $1 and 1oz 99.99% pure gold $100, each coin incorporates a transparent circular locket containing loose gold granules. The locket is surrounded by a design representing an Australian outback scene, featuring a kangaroo, grass trees and spinifex plants.
