Arguably the most spectacular setting of any sport at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games with events conducted on Sydney Harbour against the backdrop of such world-famous landmarks as the Opera House and the Harbour Bridge. There are eleven sailing events utilising nine different classes of boats: 49er Eurpoe Finn Laser Mistral Soling Star and Tornado.
