The Australian Olympic Team will make their way to the 2018 Winter Olympics held in PyeongChang South Korea from the 9th to 25th February.
To celebrate Australia's participation in the games the Royal Australian Mint has issued $5 pure silver proof which features an Olympic aerial skier mid-flight richly accentuated with selective gold plating encircling the Australian Olympic Team logo.
The mint has also struck a coloured al/bronze uncirculated $1 featuring a stylised snowboarder in mid-flight.
