The Story

To celebrate the 150th anniversary (sesqui-centenary) of Confederation on 1st July the Bank of Canada has issued a bilingual commemorative ten dollar polymer banknote dated 2017.

Featuring Sir John A. MacDonald Sir George-Etienne Cartier Agnes Macphail and James Gladstone Akay-Na-Muka on the obverse and some of Canada's famous scenery on the reverse including the dates 1867-2017.
